Karen Pool-Norby is a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Civil Division of the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. She serves in the Labor and Employment Section where her practice includes all facets of labor and employment law. She has extensive litigation experience in federal and state court, including management of complex class action litigation. She provides legal advice to clients at all levels of County government regarding every aspect of employment law, including discrimination, wage and hour compliance, discipline, policy development and review, preventative personnel measures, contingent work force issues, and other employment matters. Karen graduated summa cum laude from Washington State University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her law degree from the University of Washington with honors and is a member of the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers.
